Why you will love working with me

  • A woman with curly red hair and blue eyes sitting in a cozy room, smiling at a yellow laptop with pink flowers in foreground, greenery and brick wall in background.

    Where do you live?

I live in Nova Scotia, but I’m originally from Lancashire in the UK (ey up, chuck!).

  • Have you always been a Web designer?

Nope! I’ve worked in the handmade industry for twenty years, owning two handmade businesses - one printing and sewing homewares, the other designing digital knitting patterns. In 2022 I got diagnosed with ADHD at 38 years old and it pushed me to pursue something I never dreamed possible; A career in website design!

  • Where did you study website design?

I went back to school to study UX/UI design with Google and recieved my UX Design Specialization certificate! I then invested in both the Standout Squarespace and Standout Shopify courses from Squarestylist to ensure I could design and build beautiful, user-friendly websites for my clients to use, and their customers to visit. Plus, coding is SUPER fun!
